Seeking motivated individual with excellent communication and project management skills. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing deliverables and metrics across multiple projects and teams. S/he will have a focus towards continuous improvement with our development process.
Coordinate multiple software development projects at any give time across Engineering, QA, and Production.
Track and update project schedules and dependencies.
Identify and mitigate risks and issues and offer solutions.
Establish, update, and enforce that development standards and processes are followed.
Create, maintain, and communicate project documentation to support development standards.
Conduct meetings with the project team; drive the agenda and resolutions.
Gather and interpret metrics including bug data.
Prepare and run project post-mortems and take action on improvement areas.
Requirements/Qualifications:
4 or more years of experience successfully managing multiple projects on-time in a software development company.
Must be adaptable and flexible and work well under pressure.
Understanding of the software development life cycle.
Excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to collaborate and work with a diverse team.
Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task across projects and prioritize own work as well as the team's work.
Excellent follow-through skills on tracking issues or deliverables.
Exceptional organizational skills and must be a self-starter. Track record of demonstrating initiative.
Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be willing to work smart and hard to get the job done.
Must be experienced with Microsoft Project.
Familiarity or knowledge with different development methodologies (i.e. Agile) a plus.
This position will start out as a project based position with potential for a full-time position in the future.
