Business Development

Description Responsibilities

Identify new customers for swimmingpyramid's application development services within a given sales territory. Develop and execute effective campaigns in reaching top level executives and line-of-business (LOB) managers about the benefits of swimmingpyramid's services. Be a key member of swimmingpyramid's sales team responsible for lead qualification, and overall account penetration. Responsible for building sales pipeline. Key business function is prospecting new accounts.

Position is part-time (20 hours per week) with hours flexible over the course of a normal business week (no weekends or evenings). Hired candidate may telecommute. Compensation depends on experience but consists of base plus commission and bonuses.

Requirements/Qualifications:

3 or more years of LOB experience, software experience or sales experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills: able to talk to C-level, LOB executives or technical audiences. Ability to understand customer's industry and core business processes, and then identify the problems they are facing. Ability to understand and describe how swimmingpyramid's services can address the business issues that customers are facing. Work closely with company principals to develop account strategy. Establish account presence and build rapport with key contacts. Effective sales, marketing and project management skills· Ability to work in a team environment and independently. An entrepreneurial spirit is a must. Enterprise applications knowledge a plus.
